How to Add PushToReader to Your Kindle Approved Senders
Allow PushToReader to deliver articles to your Kindle by adding it to your approved senders list.
Amazon requires you to approve each email address that sends documents to your Kindle. If PushToReader isn't on your approved list, Amazon will silently drop your articles without any error or notification.
Find your PushToReader email address
When you created your account, PushToReader assigned you a unique delivery address. It looks something like this:
You can find your address in two places:
- During onboarding, it's displayed on the Library page.
- Anytime after, go to Settings to see it.
Copy this address. You'll need it in the next step.
Add PushToReader to your approved senders
Sign in to Amazon
Go to Manage Your Content and Devices and sign in with the Amazon account linked to your Kindle.
Open Personal Document Settings
Click Preferences at the top of the page, then scroll down to the Personal Document Settings section.
Add a new approved email address
Scroll to Approved Personal Document E-mail List and click Add a new approved e-mail address.
Enter your PushToReader email
Paste the PushToReader email address you copied earlier (e.g. [email protected]) and click Add Address.
Verify it worked
Send an article from your Library. It should arrive on your Kindle within a few minutes.
Articles still not arriving?
If your Kindle doesn't receive the test article after a few minutes, check the following:
- Typos in the approved email. Go back to your Amazon approved senders list and confirm the address matches exactly what's shown in your PushToReader Settings.
- Kindle email is correct. Make sure the Kindle email address in your PushToReader Settings matches the one Amazon assigned to your device.
- Kindle is connected to Wi-Fi. Documents won't download until your device is online.
- Give it a moment. Amazon can take a few minutes to process and deliver documents.
